Reece Ingram – Sculptor
I have over 20 years experience as a sculptor since graduating with an MA in Site Specific Sculpture. I have worked on many Public Commissions throughout the UK, within Cornwall, on the Eden Project and the Redruth Regeneration Scheme. My main materials are wood and stone. My interests are in form and mass taken from the natural world although I have taken on industrial and scientific themes depending upon the commission or residency.
Throughout this time, working with schools has been integral to my practise. I have experience of working with students of all ages and abilities, from Yr 1 to University level. Together we have used wood, stone, plaster, clay, cloth and drawing. I have collaborated in workshops with writers and scientists.
I like to provide, in association with teachers, a well structured programme, to be adaptable to their requirements in order that the students may achieve something beyond their expectations.
I have won a National Art Works Award (with Falmouth School) and a Unilever Dragonfly Award for work with Cheshire schools.
I have been CRB checked and have Public Liability Insurance.
