Jo Salter – Visual Artist
I am a qualified secondary art teacher currently teaching portraiture, painting, drawing, markmaking and mixed media for Cornwall Adult Education. Primarily a painter (1st Class Hons) I have diversified into most visual arts media and taught many at various levels including foundation, secondary school and in public and community workshops. Workshops include accessible screenprinting, creative environmental games, use of a digital camera, land, sea and location painting, experimental markmaking and as a secondary school teacher have taught most media (e.g. darkroom photography, etching, lino, photoshop etc). I am also a graphic designer and illustrator and a practicing and exhibiting artist.
