Sing to Success and Sing Up are pleased to bring you a training day led by Drake Music.
Discover how even the most ‘vocally challenged’ children can enjoy singing! This course is suitable for teachers, therapists, musicians and anyone else interested in singing activities for SEN/disabled children of primary school age. Participants will experience how simple, accessible ICT resources that are widely available in SEN settings can be used to involve even the most severely disabled children in singing, including Clicker 5, VOCAs (Voice Output Communication Aids) and BIGmack switches. No expertise in music technology is required! The training also explores a range of other approaches to accessible singing, including the use of signing, symbols, microphones and ‘multisensory’ resources.
