Natasha Carthew – poet and novelist

Natasha Carthew is a well-known Cornish Writer with Four books to her name. Her first book for Young Adults WINTER DAMAGE (Bloomsbury Publishing) was nominated for the 2014 Carnegie Medal and shortlisted for several national awards including the prestigious Branford Boase Award 2014. Her second book THE LIGHT THAT GETS LOST will be published by Bloomsbury in 2015. She is passionate about creative writing and engaging with young people to explore their imaginations, emotions and the environment around them. She is known for her dynamic and adaptable approach to writing, especially writing out of doors, nature and wild writing. She is also a survival expert and trained walks guide.

Natasha is available for full or half day workshops and readings and has experience with working with both primary and secondary students.
