I teach both Stand up and Improvisational Comedy using a variety of methods. These are both low pressure fun workshops-
During the Stand up workshops, children or teens will get the following:
-A brief history of Stand up Comedy
-Microphone technique
-Exploring yourself to get material
-Writing jokes
-Telling jokes
-A chance to see a Pro in action (myself)
The Improvisational Comedy workshops will consist of a variety of games similar to those used in Whose Line is it Anyway? We will cover the following:
-Ensemble (working as a group)
-Gibberish (nonsensical sounds)
-Physicalization (showing not telling)
-Character work (creating and building)
- Pantomime
- Props
