Hebe Lucraft- Dance Therapist/Teacher
Hebe is a UK registered Dance Therapist and Dance Teacher and has worked in dance provision in education and other settings for children and young people for over eight years. She works with children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties, Autism, Aspergers, moderate to severe learning difficulties and physical disabilities.
Hebe designs and delivers dance and movement experiences in response to individual setting needs and individual client and group needs. Some of her work is performance based and most of her work is process oriented.
Current projects include a special school for children with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties where she provides Dance Movement Therapy to individual clients, a small family group and to children on a ‘drop-in’ self-referral basis. She is currently conducting an action research project where children self-refer for Dance Movement Therapy. Hebe is also involved in developing and writing a new degree program at the University of Wales, ‘Creative Therapies in Education’.
