CYMAZ
Cornwall Youth Music Action Zone provides out of school music workshops for young people who might not otherwise have access.
Our mission is to enhance the personal, social and musical development of young people through music making.
CYMAZ is a registered charity (1108212) which uses trained community musicians to work with disengaged and disaffected young people aged 0 -19.
We work with young people from a range of social backgrounds mainly in out of school settings, usually in the evenings. We also work with people with mental health problems and with young people suffering from autistic spectrum disorders.
2006/7 will see a renewed focus on early years, young people suffering from mental ill health, on young offenders and young people at risk of offending.
