Creative Kernow
Formerly known as Cornwall Arts Centre Trust – ACT
Creative Kernow is one of Cornwall’s key creative sector organisations, established in 1983 and now running a number of well-known projects in Cornwall; it’s an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation and a strategic client of Cornwall Council.
The key projects are:
- Carn to Cove and C Fylm, Cornwall’s rural touring scheme for live performance and digital screenings
- Cornwall 365, a partnership between the cultural and tourism sectors
- Creative Skills, Cornwall’s leading professional development and business support agency for the creative sector
- The FEAST scheme, investing in collaborative projects for communities and professional artists across Cornwall
- Krowji, Cornwall’s largest creative cluster, providing studios and workspaces for up to 200 sector businesses and practitioners in Redruth
Creative Kernow has been closely involved with creative and cultural sector development in Cornwall for more than 20 years and has drawn down a wide range of European funds to support practitioners, communities and creative businesses. For more details please see http://www.creativekernow.org.uk/
