EMI Music Sound Foundation
EMI Music Sound Foundation is an independent music education charity, established in 1997 to celebrate the centenary of EMI Records and to improve young peoples’ access to music education in the UK & Ireland.
EMI Music Sound Foundation has been the largest single sponsor for Arts Colleges in the UK, its donations totalling £1,400,000. With support from the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust, we successfully sponsored 36 secondary schools to become either Specialist Performing Arts or Music Colleges.
They are delighted to have helped so many schools achieve this significant change and, even though the programme has formally ended, maintain an ongoing relationship and constant interest in all of the schools.
