Mama Mia! Is Grease your word and My Fair Lady your passion?

This is a fun, slightly cheesy, extravaganza by Sing to Success primary schools celebrating singing and the movies.  Join us for songs from a variety of movies, and a Mama Mia sing a long at the end!

Over 300 pupils from Indian Queens, Trevisker, St Merryn, Truro Prep, St Marys RC Penzance, Pencoys, Halwin, St Hilary, St Petrocs and Lanlivery will entertain with songs from a range of movies including The Lion King, Bugsy Malone, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Little Shop of Horrors.

We are really excited, it’s a great way to celebrate a year’s hard work and share our successes!

Community painting event 19 May at Gyllyndune Gardens with John Dyer & Global Gardens art competition

Saturday 19 May at Gyllyngdune Gardens – Global Gardens with artists John Dyer and Joanne Short

A special community painting session where families are invited to come along, draw the plants and paint an element onto a large painting for display in the new visitor centre.

Free event: 2pm-4pm – wear some old clothes!

Create your own ‘global gardens’ painting or mixed media picture and email it to be entered into our competiton.

How to enter: Email your picture to: art@johndyergallery.co.uk  include your name, title of painting, size and medium in the subject line of the email. Open to all children under 16 from across the UK.

Closing date: 10th June 2012

Winners will be chosen by celebrity judge Kim Wilde and will recieve prints signed by Alan Titchmarsh & John Dyer worth £150
